Anxiety Treatment

Anxiety

Anxiety can take many forms, including panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, or difficulty sleeping because you are haunted by worries which you "just can't get out of your head."  Left untreated, anxiety can be disabling, limiting or can restrict activities of daily life.  Therapy entails learning coping skills, often including mindfulness meditation, and gaining insight into triggers, offers an opportunity for mastery of disabling anxiety.  Cognitive-behavioral therapy skills have proven to be very successful in treating most forms of anxiety.
