The Center for Marriage and Family Therapy first opened in Matawan, New Jersey in 1986. We have gradually expanded to include offices in Freehold, Toms River, Princeton and Piscataway.  We have developed a network of affiliated therapists who have a variety of areas of specialization, including sex therapy, substance abuse, and career change consultation.

Our therapists are trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, relationship building skills, conflict resolution skills and family systems therapy, among other approaches. We help people determine their own goals for treatment, and develop a plan based on a thorough assessment and mutual discussion. There is no cookie cutter approach that we use in treatment. The goal is to help people take charge of their own lives.

We provide counseling services for individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents.  We accept a variety of insurance, including Medicare. Please call for further details.
